On the trail again hiking with my goats on Mt Herman we join in the Portage Co ARC\'s Freeze Your Acorns Off (FYOA) Event.

While hiking with Rooster and Peanut on Memorial Day we encounter thunder and lightning. Once the storm passes we safely make it onto the ridge and to make some fun contacts with my IC703 and Buddipole vertical antenna. A123 batteries were used to power the radio
