This is a one valve [tube] radio that believe it or not I constructed 48 years ago. It remained lost but was discovered again during a recent house move. The valve used is a battery R.F. pentode dating from around 1948 on a B7G base. The type number is DF91 or the American equivalent, the 1T4....

I use this TBW transmitter on 40 meters for AM (7.290) and have been opperating it for around four or five years now. The power supply is home built and located in both the old center section and under the rack the transmitter lives on. KA3EKH

Installing the 100' Rohn SSV ham radio Tower. There are 5 twenty foot sections. We mounted three in singles, then put the top two in at once, because the boom truck wasn't tall enough to put the top 20' on top of an 80' base.
